Valamar Isabella Island Hotels & Resort
Valamar Isabella Island Hotels & Resort is the top touristic destination on Croatian Adriatic Sea, in the city of Porec. This touristic complex extends throughout the Sveti Nikola Island, including several hotels and exclusive villas (counting 344 accommodation units 31.000 m2 overall), swimming pools, a historical castle, an old lighthouse, restaurants, bars, landscape and streets. In 2015 the whole island is revived and all objects were reconstructed.
Our scope of work was light design of the complete interior light design (except hotel rooms, which was defined by the interior designer), exterior light design including facade lighting and landscape light design.
Light design project was done for the entire island, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Each part of the Island is treated differently due to different purposes of each area (family area, couple’s and weddings area, exclusive villas, various types of restaurants, bars, walking paths etc.). It was a challenging project, but also a unique and great experience for the Nova-lux team.
