Hotel Royal Tulip in Muscat, Oman
The Hotel & Apartment Royal Tulip, with a total brutto area of approx. 25,000 m2, has a distinctive traditional architectural character, consisting of 187 guestrooms in Hotel and 27 Suites in Apartment Building, Front & Back of House areas and 2 level basements for car park and service areas.
The scope of work of NOVA-LUX was a complete interior light design project, done in very close cooperation with the Client and Interior Designer due to a specific style of interior design as well as incorporated lights within the furniture, ceiling construction, walls etc. . The project was realized in a partnership with the company 2F Hotellicht, Austria. Lobby, All Day Dining and Restaurant was a particular areas in which almost all light fixtures were developed as a custom made products.
It was a very interesting project in which the latest LED technology was used, including hand–blown glass chandeliers and LED light integrated within a special wooden ceiling of curved shapes. Overall, light design was carefully developed from the beginning of the design process of interior designers, resulting in a luxurious touch of Royal Tulip hotel.
