Mwani Building in Hamad Port, Qatar

Located at Hamad Port in Umm Al Houl, near Doha, Qatar, the new headquarters of NPP Mwani is an amazing object that reflects the importance of Mwani Qatar as a big name in the management of the country’s seaports, quays, dry ports, containers and other terminals.

The unique design of this geometric façade required custom made fittings to achieve the desired effect at very specific angles and powers. The lighting scheme adds contrast to the façade at night and clearly highlights the architectural shapes and forms.

The implementation of this exceptional light design of the facade is provided by Lighting Group Qatar. The task of Nova-lux as their partner in this project was to create a realistic light simulation on 3D model of the facade. The facade is lit with the newest technology and custom-made light fixtures, for which we have tested various optics and intensities of light, and finally suggested the best suitable light solution.
