Sofaz Tower in Baku

SOFAZ Tower is the new administrative building of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The building is a unique project that incorporates both the latest technological innovations and traditional elements (especially the tradition of carpet production in Azerbaijan). The building consists of 24 floors and 2 underground floors, with a height of 117 meters, and has a specific façade designed by taking into account the national cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.

Our task on this project was to create a light design concept and solution, for which we have created a precise light simulation on a 3D computer model as well.
