Pliva pharmaceutical company – production plant reconstructions and various projects
Pliva is the leading pharmaceutical company in Southeast Europe and the largest in Croatia, primarily manufacturing and selling generic drugs. Established in 1921, from 2008 Pliva is a member of the Teva Group, one of the largest global pharmaceutical companies. Pliva is among 10 largest companies in Croatia by revenues and is one of the major exporters in Croatia with over 70% of products intended for exports. Last 10 years Pliva has made massive investments in plant modernization, the increase in production, as well as in research and development, environmental protection and new technologies. Therefore, Pliva Research Centre is one of the leading research and development centers for Teva Group.
Nova-lux has made electrical design projects for various projects for Pliva, starting from 2009 until today. These projects include Adaptation for the production of highly active products, Reconstruction of the pharmaceutical production plant, Relocation of the pilot plant and conversion of the facility, Expansion of the water production plant (for injections) etc.
