Saga Office and Residential Building
Light design proposal with 3D simulation for the façade of this modern building was a specific task for our light design department, together with a request that the exterior lighting should not effect the interior of the building, if possible (with the only inconsistency in the case of narrow window openings, for which light effecting the interior was allowed).
With small dots of light we have created accents of light on the main window facing the main road, in order to create interesting and appealing light effect, without any light effecting the interior. Dots of light can be animated by creating letters “Saga” or various dynamic light effects due to a light management control.
Side façade is accented with colored light in narrow openings with windows, with a floodlight effect of colored light on the façade, and a line of light on the top of the building, creating a complete visual effect on the façade. All effects were made by taking into account that light is not entering the windows (except in the case of narrow window openings, for which light effecting the interior was allowed).
On this way, this new building is accentuated during evening and night, which was the Client’s aim.
