Marsa Arabia Resort in Qatar
Located on the Marsa Arabia Island at The Pearl Qatar’s Porto Arabia, Marsa Arabia Resort will be a 5-star Hotel & Residence with resort amenities, with a total built-up area of 157.000 m2. The island resort architectural character used in the design is being inspired by a fusion of Arabic and Andalusian cultures. The residences embody the refinement of modern Arabia, with luxury apartments and townhouses, a selection of unique and contemporary food & beverage outlets, as well as state-of-the-art leisure features. It will comprise 223 Branded Residences, 193 Hotel Apartments, 6 Swimming Pools and 2 Jetties, 4 Specialty Restaurants, Waterfront Restaurant, All-day Dining Restaurant, Pool Grill, Business Centre, Gym, Wellness Centre, Beauty Centre, Night Club, Cigar Lounge, Lobby Lounge, Bar Lounge, Café Lounge, Retail Restaurant, Club Convenience Store etc. The hotel and luxury residences will operate under St. Regis brand. Construction works have recently commenced, and the development is expected to be completed in December 2021.
Our task on this prestigious project was to create high quality and realistic Lighting visualizations for the facade light design, for the client Lighting Group Qatar. The visualizations were made on a 3D model of the Marsa Arabia Island Resort and comprise thousands of light fixtures planned to be installed. Every light fixture is precisely simulated in its light beam and light effect on the facade, domes, within facade structures, within interior, on the pools areas, on walking paths, within restaurants etc. The final effect is an appealing atmosphere on the whole island imagined and created in detail by our light designers.
