Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Osijek – Energy Efficiency Project
For the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Osijek, the request was to make Energy Efficiency project for a part of the building on the address Street Lorenza Jägera 9, Osijek, since the existing electrical system was old, non-efficient and of poor quality, moreover lighting system was not made according lighting standards and norms. Energy Efficiency project was a part of the Energy reconstruction project of the attic of the building.
With the Energy Efficiency project, the following electrical installations were reconstructed:
- power supply of ventilation, heating and cooling elements,
- general lighting,
- safety lighting,
- equipotential bonding and grounding,
- lightning protection system
Regarding general lighting, achieved energy savings are over 65%, and maintenance costs are significantly reduced. With new general lighting system, now made according to HRN EN 12464-1 and safety lighting according to HRN EN 1838, the quality of lighting is improved significantly. Overall, implemented light fixtures are nicely designed are their light sources are not glary.
The Investor is the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Osijek.
