CROMARIS – Reconstruction of Fish Processing Plant

For Cromaris, Nova-lux has made a complete electrical design project for the project Reconstruction of fish processing plant in Zadar. Electrical design was done according to the specific requirements regarding automatized production lines, as well as according to the strictest international food safety standards. Design was completed during 2012-2013.
The facility was built according to the principles of good manufacturing and hygiene practice and is certified according to the strictest international food safety standards (BRC Global Standard for Food Safety i IFS Food). The caught fish is delivered immediately after the catch to the processing plant for the fish sorting process, afterward a part of the sorted fresh fish packed in cassettes is sent directly to the target market, while the other part is processed. Peeling, cleaning, and filleting of fish is done mechanically with minimal manual manipulation, and then the processed fresh fish is packed in cassettes or recycling trays. Packing in trays with a specific technology that additionally retains the freshness of the product takes place automatically on the most advanced machines.
